Personal Wire Transfers
Our customers can send or receive money domestically or internationally through our First Fed wire transfer service. Here’s what you need to know to get started:
Send a wire transfer:
You can send a domestic or foreign wire transfer by visiting any of our branches. Remember, while wire transfers within the United States usually take less than 24 hours to clear, a foreign wire transfer could take several days depending on the receiving country and financial institution. An estimated date of receipt will be provided during the wire process.
You will need:
- Printed wire instructions for the recipient’s financial institution
- Physical address of the recipient (not a P.O. Box)
- Photo ID
- Payment: There is a small fee for wire transfers that will be debited from your account
